AFTER HE HAS SPOKEN

Text:                                                 Num. 23:16-20

we will consider the topic After He (God) Has Spoken.

In doing this we will reason along the following points:- The Time of Speaking; After The Time of Speaking; The Time Now in Watchman.

THE TIME OF SPEAKING

By the time of speaking we meanthe prevailing circumstances at the time God speaks on a matter. *The time of speaking is usually a time when situations and circumstances seem to disagree with the possibility of that which is spoken. *It is a time when that which is spoken of, usually looks unrealizable (Gen. 12:7; 13:14-17; 15:4-5; 18:10-14; Lk. 13:9;26-31, 34). * It is a time when believing or accepting that which is spoken is simply by faith (Gen. 15:6; Heb. 11:1,6).

AFTER THE TIME OF SPEAKING

Here we are referring to the happenings after the Lord has spoken. This time is a time of contest, either to continue believing or to throw in the towel, or try some other way.  It is a period when that which is spoken is contested seriously. (Gen. 16:1-4).  More often than not, it turns to a period of dilemma to those spoken to (2Pt. 3:3-4).  This time spans from shortly after the Lord has spoken to the time of fulfilment.  This period therefore can divided into 3-sessions.

(i)  Shortly after the Lord has Spoken This is when the spoken word is still fresh and faith/expectations still high. (ii). Long after the Lord has spoken This is when the spoken word is almost forgotten and doubt is prone to set in (Jn. 20:21-23; 21:1-3).

(iii). The time of fulfilment This is a time called the fulness of time (Gal. 4:4), the appointed time (Gen. 18:14; 21:1-2).  It is a time the power of God is made manifest, to bring to fulfilment the spoken word.  It is especially programmed and set time by God (Gen. 15:13-14; Ex. 3:6-8).  At this time no odds, or adverse situations can stop the fulfilment.  The whole weight and power of God is thrown behind the spoken word to perform it.  It is a time when many recall that it was spoken, it was written, it was prophesied, etc.  It is a time many shout and declare involuntarily that God is faithful.  The doubtful, becomes believing, the fearful becomes bold, and the weak in faith becomes strong.  (Gen. 21:1-7; Lk. 1:57-66).

THE TIME NOW IN WATCHMAN.

This W.C.C.R.M., which is like a child of circumstance born in due time, has gone through many stages.  There was the stage when God was speaking and the things spoken looked weird and bizarre, and unbelievable; many laughed at and disdained the movement.  Then came the time after the Lord had spoken and it was like a wilderness experience.  Many could not continue, some opted for other churches.  Beyond this time is the time now in the Watchman — the time of fulfilment of all that was spoken and blessed are our eyes for what they shall see.  The question then is, what has God spoken?  Behold now is the time of fulfilment for all who belong to the Watchman.  We can now rejoice for the Lord has returned to Watchman to fulfil His words. “The Adversaries shall proceed no futher!” (2Tim.3:9).

People that are yet living in sin should take note of what God has spoken  and so should repent before these prophesies fulfil on them.

But for Watchman, let them rise up for great is the Holy One in the midst of thee (Isa. 12:6).  Note: when God has spoken, no man or spirit in time or space can reverse it (Num. 23:20).
