Making The Most High Your Habitation

Text:         Psalm 91:1-16

INTRODUCTION: Dwelling In The Secret Place Of The Most High is another way of rendering the topic entitled: He That Dwells In The Secret Place Of The Most High. While addressing the issue, we saw what is meant by The Secret Place, The People That Dwell Therein and The Promises made to them.

We saw that the secret place is where people keep/preserve the things that are most important or dearest to them. It is also a place where people discuss issues that are most important or dearest to them. One is said to be in the secret place of another when one always shares with that other the things that are most intimate or dearest in the others heart.

In the same vein, we saw that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High are those  who share Gods burden/Gods concern; those who concern themselves with that which is dearest to God=s heart.  Therefore, those who get themselves heartily involved in the matter of the salvation of the multitudes, and the preparation and preservation of same for the imminent rapture, are obviously dwelling in the secret place of the Most High today (Lk. 19:10; Jn. 4:34; Jude 23; Eph. 4:11-13; 5:27). Put differently, those who are conscientiously prosecuting the Lords 3-fold end-time project or the 11th hour business (Isa. 49:5,6), which business is  altogether in the bossom of the Lord at this hour, are dwelling in the secret place of the Most High.

The Lord elects to point us to some further evidence of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, and the attendant  blessings.

Making the Most High ones habitation is for one to sincerely repent of one’s sin and surrender one=s heart to the Lord Jesus Christ (cp. Isa. 55:6,7; Prov. 23:26; Jn. 1:11-13; Eph. 2:19-22).

The next is for one to stay one’s mind, and lead a life of total dependence upon Him (cp. Isa. 26:3,4; Ps. 37:3-7). However, it is only those that know His name, nature and attributes, His power, love and faithfulness, etc, that can trust implicitly (rest their minds)on Him (cp. Ps. 9:10; Ex. 34:5-7; Dan. 11:32).
