SUCH AS I HAVE, GIVE I THEE

Text:                          Acts 3:1-15

(A)       THE MEN REVEALED (ACTS. 3:1)

They men were ordinary men and not angel, who though were not educated had something that made them unique – The Power of God (Acts. 3:12; 4:13; 2:1-4; 3:6).  With all humility, be informed that though the minister is an ordinary man, he has the Power of God (2Chro.20:20).

(B)       THE MONEY REQUESTED (ACTS. 3:2-3)

There, was an Israelite incapacitated from birth by lameness! As it was with many people, he did not know his need and so did not seek to have this need met (Hos. 4:6). Secondly, as it was with some who sought to have their needs met, but didn’t discern the presence of the instrument of salvation, so was it with the needy man (cons. Lk. 1941-44; Jn. 4:10; 7:45-53).

In the same way, no one should be like the ignorant man at the gate of the temple who didn’t know his real need when the vessels of deliverance appeared on the scene …

(C)       THE MIRACLE RECEIVED (ACTS. 3:4-11)

The man was very expectant and didn’t resist the attempt of the apostles to pull him up. He got more than what he expected (cons. Eph. 3:10)

Miracles usually come when faith is exhibited (cons. Mk. 6:3-6; Jas. 1:6-8). And as many as would move into the realm of excitement and expectation in this meeting shall surely receive some definite touch from on high (miracle).

(D)       THE MESSAGE RELEASED (ACTS. 3:11-15)

The miracle was for a primary purpose – To give the beneficiary and witnesses the dividends of Calvary. Apostle Peter didn’t dilly dally in passing the information

Watchman is not a place of receiving miracles and returning to sin, but a place of truth (Jn.8:32). The sinner should leave sin to get the best of the Almighty (Isa.59:1-2)

The ministers said “Such as I have give I thee…”

Tonight, something good shall happen to you!…

Let’s rise up to pray.
